The Department of Political Science of Harishchandrapur College was established in the year 2008 with the inception of the college. It is one of the oldest Department of the College. This Department has contribute towards teaching and others activities in the discipline of Political Science.It has produce thousand of graduate in Political Science since its inception. The faculty members have contributed with great efforts towards the discipline of Political Science and others related Social Science also to create best in all from the beginning.The Department of Political Science in Harishchandrapur College has a team of dedicated faculty members who bring with them rich academic and research experience. The faculty members are actively involved in teaching, research, and extension activities, and have made significant contributions to their respective fields. The department is engage with different activities where faculty members and students are taking part to empower the youths, specially belongs to the marginalize section of the society through quality education, so as to make them good human being and responsible citizen besides enabling them to meet the challenge of the contemporary knowledge society. The faculty members of the Department of Political Science are committed to providing quality education to the students and are always willing to go the extra mile to help students in their academic pursuits.
